Why is Self-Care important?

  • Self care prevents burnout, reduces stress, and can help you refocus. It has many benefits for your physical, mental, and emotional health.

  • Take a nap, take a walk, play with your pet, read a book, do nothing, take a bath, go on a run, visit a friend, paint your nails, eat your favorite food.

Good health hygiene:

We are taught how to practice good personal hygiene habits from a young age because these habits can help us in many ways. Hygiene is a way of referring to clean living habits that keep us healthy.

         •  Hygiene includes bathing, good sleep, teeth brushing, hand washing, eating well, and overall care of your body

Good hygiene can help you stay healthy and offers countless positive benefits for your physical, emotional, and psychological health. Benefits of hygiene: 

         •  Disease prevention

         •  Social acceptance

         •  Higher confidence and self-esteem

There is no single definition for spirituality, nor is there a single way to practice it. Spirituality means different things to different people and even those meanings can change over time.

Practicing spirituality is a productive way to reduce stress levels and focus your energy on something positive.

  • Volunteer in your community

  • Make your relationships a priority

  • Try meditation and relaxation techniques
